A specialized human resources software company entrusted us with the organization of diverse team-building activities for their two-day offsite. These pivotal moments of disconnect for the developer team provided the perfect opportunity to recharge and return with a fresh perspective on product development.
The company chose an idyllic venue to host their employees, nestled in the heart of nature and equipped with a restaurant, bar, garden, terrace, and outdoor pool.
Following an exploration of the space, we delved into creating the main activity for the first day: an exhilarating orienteering race combined with an adventure raid. Both activities were infused with essential elements like teamwork, strategy, adaptability, leadership assumption, and the maximization of individual talents for the collective benefit.
The adventure raid featured various sports challenges set in the midst of nature, scattered across an expansive terrain. Activities ranged from archery and a vertical forest to zip-lining and rappelling.
Upon concluding this thrilling activity, employees relished a diverse menu for lunch, followed by leisure time. Adjacent to the pool, a DJ provided music for relaxation, swimming, and the enjoyment of refreshing mojitos.
The subsequent morning involved colleagues presenting their extensive work. Together, they analyzed results and sought enhancements for the product. Following this phase, an engaging activity awaited them: a drumming workshop.
With this activity, our aim was for participants to experience the strength of collaboration, comprehend the significance of each part in the orchestra, value active listening, and contribute personal energy toward a shared goal.
The blend of disconnection, adventure, and collaboration underscored the success of this offsite.
